Xango is made from an Asian fruit called
Mangosteen. Its rind (pericarp) is roughly 1 cm thick and the fruit
inside is a bright white. Grown anywhere tropical, Asian countries
relish the white part of the fruit, but usually throw the rind away,
like we do with oranges and lemons. Scientist and some doctors
discovered research about the fruit back as far as the 1800s. A new
class of potent anti-oxidents called xanthones have been discovered in
the rind of the mangosteen fruit. Xanthones benefit nearly every system
of the body. The whole fruit puree of the mangosteen has now, for the
first time, been bought to the commercial market in the form of our
proprietary Xango juice! The tree takes around 22 years to fully
develop and grows to approx 75 feet tall. It bears approx 5000 fruit
and needs 6 metres around (not a back yard tree). The Xango company is
4 years old and growing at an unbelievable rate. |
